What We Do

- Goals in programmes are based on: Behavioural Development, Communication, Independence and Self-help Skills, Academic and Learning, and Sensory and Motor Skills
- Empower children to reach their highest level of independence in typical classroom and social settings
- Provide tools for your child to be happy and engaged members in their community
- For children from 18 months and above
- Sessions are conducted in English, Cantonese or Mandarin
Our Approach (ABA)
Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) is a scientific approach to understanding behaviour. It is an empirical approach with emphasis on observation and experience. It is a training method with a focused approach with emphasis on observation and experience. It is a training method with focus on behavioural changes, affected by its relations to its environment. ABA is devoted to the understanding and improvement of human behaviour.
What is Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA)?
ABA is a teaching strategy that is based on 3-term contingency of Antecedent, Behaviour, and Consequence
- Antecedent – Environmental conditions or changes that exist prior to the behaviour of interest
- Behaviour – Portion of the person’s interaction with the environment
- Consequence – Stimulus change that follows a behaviour of interest
ABA is a systematic approach
- Task analysis is used to break down skills into teachable steps
- Focused teaching is provided to attain skills quickly
- Prompts are given according to deficits in order to accurately assist students when difficulties occur
- Reinforcement is provided to help motivate the child
- Data is collected consistently to track progress

Does ABA work?

Evidence-Based
- Years of research has demonstrated that children who receive early intensive behavioural intervention have demonstrated positive improvements in their development
- Areas include communication, socialization, following instructions, attention, daily living skills, and more

Data-driven Approach
- Data on each program objectives are tracked in each session and reviewed by the supervisors to assess the trend of the behaviors and effectiveness of the treatment plan
- Each data point specifies teaching procedures and prompt strategies
- Modifications are made based on treatment priorities or the needs of the child and family to maximize the learning progress
- Based on the collected data, therapy teams will then meet bi-weekly to discuss the trend and the progress
- Parents will receive monthly updates on general progress
- A comprehensive IEP meeting with the supervisors and families, which include discussion of the collected data and overall future objectives, which is held bi-annually

Teaming Up with the Family
- Family members play an important role of being the child’s constant teacher.
- Our team provides the child with direct therapy whilst building a strong working relationship with the family members.
- Regular meetings with the family to address their concerns with the team and prioritize goals or skills the most benefit their child
